This project took several months to complete and was funded by the 2025 Luminata Artist Grant put forth by the Fremont Arts Council.

The finished puppet was a 10 ft long Blue Whale that fully lit up through LED lights and floated above the crowd during the 2025 Luminata lantern procession.

This puppet (whom we named Wally) was able to open its mouth and interact with the crowd during the half mile lantern procession around Green Lake.
